Bitcoin Trader Review 2020: Is it really a scam or legit ...

Mining Bitcoin

Bitcoin mining is analogous to the mining of gold, but its digital form. The process involves specialized computers solving algorithmic equations or hash functions. These problems help miners to confirm blocks of transactions held within the network. Bitcoin mining provides a reward for miners by paying out in Bitcoin in turn the miners confirm transactions on the blockchain. Miners introduce new Bitcoin into the network and also secure the system with transaction confirmation.

If I have a company that trades Bitcoin for fiat money (but never the other way around), do I have to compel with the KYC process?

I was thinking about starting my own company, but I need the client to buy cryptocurrencies through fiat (but I don't need to trade backwards - crypto to fiat). Am I legally obligated to implement a KYC process?
I was hoping for someone to know that! I'm based in Europe, if that info is necessary.
Also, is there any company out there that provides an API for this (with low fees)?

Futures trading based on the dollar artificially inflates bitcoin, ruining it as a store of value in the process.

Based on the fact that futures trading can artificially inflate or deflate bitcoin, without the speculators actually having to buy bitcoins, this process ruins the whole concept of finite supply, in this scenario bitcoin fails to be a store of value as it was once considered and becomes something far less reliable.

my account used to scam, threatened with arrest! Lawful? Please advise...

I sell some bitcoins on localbitcoins.com I have certain parameters set to try and weed out scammers. They must have some trade history first, they can only get a certain amount depending on how many trades, etc.. I have done 1000+ successful trades. I had a user open a trade. The trade seemingly went well with it being traded in good time. The user had a verified email, australian phone number and australian IP (obviously this isn't hard to fake with a vpn etc). The trade was for a cash deposit, so they go to the bank and put the cash into my account. It was marked paid and I checked my account to see the money there, so I released the coins to their LBC.com wallet, as per the terms of trade. These are common terms with many traders. The following day I was contacted first by the fraud investigators from the bank then Vic police to tell me they were stolen funds. I wasn't sure how a cash deposit could be deemed stolen funds. I was told that someone in Vic was called by someone posing as an electrical company. The person in Vic was told that they needed to pay a certain fee or their electricity would be cut off (or something to that effect). The person in Vic was then given my account details, presumably after they'd open a trade request with me (that's the only way they could've had my account details because we had no previous trades) and told to pay into that account - my account, hich sounds nothing like an electrical company. I'm not exactly sure what happened next but there must have been a full day before she called the police and they contacted the bank then me. So the officer i spoke to told me the story up until that point. Then I was told that I would probably be arrested! For starters I feel for the Victorian person for being scammed. But firstly, to fall for that is pretty dumb. But, some people can be naive and shouldn't be scammed because of it. Secondly, how can anyone know this person wasn't in on it? They easily could have an accomplice open a trade then they go pay, then make a police report to claim back the money as a scam from the bank and share in the free bitcoins. Since talking to the officer I have sent all correspondence of the trade, screen shots, usernames, etc to the officer. I have been onto LBC.com support about the matter and they have sent me the link to the relevant law enforcement in their jurisdiction so that Vic police can make a request to finnish police to get the required info from LBC, which LBC said they would do. I offered to sit down and go through the bitcoin trading process with the officer so they can understand it. I am cooperating and it is obvious that three people could have done this scam. It could be me, obviously I know I didn't but I understand there has to be an investigation. A currently unknown scammer, the most likely. Or the person claiming to be the victim. Would this be an unlawful arrest seeing as: a) they have my name, phone number, address and there is no reason a court attendance notice wouldn't suffice. b) there needs to be some investigation before they can just assume one suspect over another, surely? c) if they want to interview me they can just call me or ask me to go for an interview, like they already have - I have not tried to avoid them, nor have I have any history of the like. d) similarly, if they need to ID me they can ask me to go to a station. Am I correct at this stage believing that if I am arrested at this point that it would be unlawful?

University of Nicosia: Proposal to the Cyprus Government for Converting Cyprus into a Worldwide Hub for Bitcoin Trading & Processing!!

I attended a conference at the University of Nicosia organised by the ruling political party (DHSY).
The University and the Cyprus Stock Exchange were very positive about this. Neo & Bee officials said that they will give any assistance needed.
The Chairman of the State Stock Exchange said they lack knowledge of bitcoin and will welcome any help from the University & Neo.
If they manage to do this, Cyprus will become the center of the bitcoin world!
Check the presentation of the University's CFO, Dr. Christos Vlachos, here:
http://www.paideia-news.com/content/files/62452025.pdf
Especially page 13 where he talks about the proposal of the University that has been made to the Cyprus Government to make Cyprus the center of the bitcoin world! A real visionary!!
Here is a translation of page 13:
**PROPOSAL TO THE CYPRUS GOVERNMENT FOR CONVERTING CYPRUS INTO A WORLDWIDE HUB FOR BITCOIN TRADING & PROCESSING
We believe that Bitcoin offers a significant opportunity for innovation and development: we would like to see Cyprus using its powerful human and academic capitals to become a pioneer in this regard.
All that the state has to do is to create a regulatory framework for Bitcoin businesses in Cyprus: this will eliminate/reduce the risks associated with digital currencies such as counterparty risk.
We can create an entirely new industry in Cyprus based on Bitcoin and digital currencies.
There will be major foreign investments in the economy, large annual income from its trading in the official Cyprus stock exchange and creation of new jobs.
Zero investment from the government.
The opportunity will not be there forever . Already other countries make similar moves e.g. Singapore , Switzerland , Denmark.**
